Hey there, I'm Ben Johnson!
Over the past few years, I’ve worked as both a graphic designer and photographer for Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC. My work has spanned social media, billboards, posters, in-venue video board graphics, merchandise design, and large-scale event coverage. I’ve also worked with brands and institutions including Woodford Reserve, the Kentucky Derby, Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, the ISCO Championship, Keene Trace Golf Club, the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville, touring musicians, and others on a wide range of design and photography projects.
I studied Integrated Strategic Communication on the Creative Advertising track at the University of Kentucky, with a minor in Digital Media & Design. During my senior year, I was part of the AAF National Student Advertising Competition team, where we placed 9th out of more than 100 teams nationwide. While in school, I also owned and operated a screen-printing business, which gave me a well-rounded understanding of merchandise design. In early 2025, I was honored to receive the ClubEleven North American Soccer Photo of the Year award, selected from more than 600 submissions across the continent by both community vote and a panel of judges.
The experiences I’ve been blessed with throughout my career have all pointed back to one thing: people matter. Clichés aside, everyone has a story and wants to be known. It is my creative responsibility to do each and every story justice.
